Frequently Asked Questions about FrequentApostolicQuestions.com

Q: Why did you start this website?
A: I strongly encourage you to read the post Starting this site and “Why the name Frequent Apostolic Questions” question below. In a shorter version, God told me to start this website. If those two sections of information do not answer your question(s), then please let me know and I will be happy to answer any further questions via email.

Q: Why the name Frequent Apostolic Questions?
A: The start of the idea was originated when I was learning how to podcast and do a blog. Interestingly enough, the original idea that sparked everything here wasn’t related to God, it was actually about a game and hearing a podcast regarding the game. So, at the time of thinking of other ideas I could do with podcasting, along with the game podcast, I thought Hey I could do something for God. Well I started wondering about names, but the game podcast idea never got a name. The Lord gave me Frequent Apostolic Questions (FAQ) and, of course, it was perfect. It had a catchy name, short and to the point of what the website would be about. So, now I finally got the project started and I hope everyone enjoy’s what they find. :)

Q: What does Apostolic mean?
A: The word apostle means “to send away” usually to convey a message. This explains the purpose of the Twelve Apostles in the new testament. I explain this because it is the root word of Apostolic, we follow the apostles message.

Q: Regarding hermeneutics, what way do you interpret the scriptures?
A: 2 Peter 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. When I find an answer to a question from the scripture, it won’t be what I think or how I feel. The scripture has the answer, not me. Regarding the deeper things, I am not able to control how much God reveals to you on the subject. All I would do is provide the scripture known to me.

Final Note: I encourage everyone to study, as we are meant to study according to 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Everyone needs to study, don’t take my word for it!
